Rattanakosin International College of Creative Entrepreneurship (RICE)
was established in 2017 to align with Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin’s vision of becoming a leading university for entrepreneurship, particularly within the creative industries on both international and academic fronts. Building on the rich heritage of fine arts and craftsmanship from the renowned Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, founded during the reign of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (H.M. King Rama VI), RICE is dedicated to developing talents, managers, and entrepreneurs across a wide spectrum of creative fields. We blend instruction, training, and the cultivation of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and an entrepreneurial spirit to empower young people to transform their passions into lifelong careers and seize opportunities in our interconnected world. Our strong commitment to fostering talent and entrepreneurship in the creative industries drives us to create clear pathways for our students toward successful careers. Our programs include practical skill training from globally recognized educational institutions and professional associations, along with relevant science and business degrees from esteemed foreign universities and extensive industrial placements with prominent organizations. This structured approach ensures our graduates not only acquire high-level technical skills but also develop the adaptability, business acumen, international exposure, and networking capabilities needed to confidently enter the professional realm.

We are dedicated to producing hands-on graduates who not only excel academically but also possess the practical skills to ethically apply their knowledge in real-world situations.

We nurture attitudes and qualities in our graduates that will help them succeed professionally and personally anywhere in the world. To support this mission, we have established the Rattanakosin International College of Creative Entrepreneurship (RICE), which I have the privilege of supervising.
All programs at RICE are designed with a student-centered approach, emphasizing a balance between practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and foundational competencies. We employ project-based learning and authentic assessments, allowing students to engage deeply with the material beyond traditional exams. Our extracurricular activities—ranging from clubs and excursions to self-directed learning—further support each student's development.
As the supervisor of RICE, I assure prospective students, parents, partners, and academic organizations that we are committed to fostering the skills and qualities that will enable our graduates to thrive competitively in both national and international contexts while making meaningful contributions to their communities.

The world has never been this complex or unpredictable.
Changes and uncertainties are becoming the new normalcy, making our knowledge and skills from schooling quickly redundant. Economic systems, and our lives, can be disrupted within the blink of an eye. As such, professional success and life happiness need to be redefined. Soft competencies like critical and creative thinking skills, resilience, adaptability, internal mindedness, intercultural intelligence and many more are now gaining recognition as foundations for success and happiness. My colleagues at RICE and myself are well aware of this and have modernized our curriculum and pedagogical approach.
We would like to assure you that our programs are carefully crafted and fine-tuned assuring that you will be prepared for the interconnected, horizontal, and borderless world where opportunities are to seized and challenges are to be overcome. Our course are designed to distinguish you from the rest in your professional worlds. Our team teaching, as well as non-teaching staff, has a fervent determination to help and guide you through your first tertiary educational journey, both in and outside the classroom.

Empowering Global Talent: Real-World Skills, Global Expertise, Ready for Success!
In Academic Year 2018, Culinary arts and technology Program was launched under a partnership with Institut Culinaire Disciples Escoffier, an affiliated chef school to the most prestigious culinary chef professional association – Disciples Escoffier named after the father of modern cuisine whose members are chefs to the heads of states, Michelin star-chefs and culinary celebrities. The program is offering not only a Thai bachelor degree but also a business degree from a French business school as well as a French Government recognized certificate in French cuisine.
Recently, we launched the Creative Design Entrepreneurship program, which offers two specializations: Fashion Design and Product Design. This initiative is a collaboration between Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin and Campus Métiers d'Art et Design-Paris, partnership with the Mobilier National. Through our fruitful collaboration with one of the most prominent institutions of the French Ministry of Culture. Students who meet the standards will be awarded two degrees: a bachelor’s degree in creative design entrepreneurship and the Diplome Nationale des Métiers d’art et du Design (DN MADE) from the Ministry of Higher Education of France.
Additionally, the college offers other international programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels in Business Administration, Management, Entrepreneurship, and Education, which are recognized by foreign educational institutions. We also have several key partnerships in the People’s Republic of China, sending students for graduate studies to enhance their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and research capabilities. After graduation, these students will return to contribute to the development of their communities and their country.
